It’s back!

It’s back! After a short hiatus, we’ve brewed another batch of Wet Willy Scotch Ale. This is one of our favorite in house beers. If you’re a fan of Scotch, our “Scotch” ale may be for you. We wanted to get some nice natural caramelization and color in our interpretation of a scotch ale, so we used a single scottish malt and boiled the kettle for 3 hours. Right now Wet Willy is conditioning in the tank on a boat load of oak chips. We think a glass of Wet Willy is a nice addition to a chilly fall evening. You’ll see Wet Willy in 500 ml bottles this time around and you can expect to see it on shelves in about 3 weeks. After Wet Willy is packaged and out the door, we’ll gear up to squeeze another batch of Gandhi-Bot in and quite possibly a draft only batch of something fun to keep us on our toes before we get the 2010 batch of Stout Trooper in the tank. Right now we’re looking forward to the arrival of 3 new fermentors and an additional brite tank as well a new canning line to keep pumping out New England Brewing beer. Thanks to those who have continuously supported us over the years and through our recent growing pains. Time to finish my Saturday at the brewery with a glass of fresh Sea Hag. Cheers!
